Submission Rules:

• MAJOR RULES:
  1. Your site must not contain any form of child porn or abuse of children or adults. This rule also applies to and includes animals. Any site submitted that contains any of the above mentioned can (and will) be presented to the proper authorities.
  2. The title and description should reflect the content that a user would find on your site.
  3. Your site should not display popups or attempt to install any software on the user's computer.
• If your site has no PageRank: It may be refused unless you provide a reciprocal link. This helps in getting rid of the new pages that some webmasters put up and forget about - causing our directory to take a hit because the page no longer exists or 404 errors itself out. So we decided when we started that to get on to WDL will take a bit of effort on the part of the webmaster. We feel that if you have a PageRank of 1 or higher you are really putting forth some effort to get noticed... therefore we'll help you along.
• If Your Site is NEW: We all have new sites coming up, we understand your need to get the word out about it - but... in order to help you, you have to help us. We require a simple reciprocal link back to us. Pretty simple. Make a simple HTML page and call it links and put it on your server and just post our link on it... this will get you more action for linking than you know. As well, we always constantly check the links every month - if your link is gone or our link is gone - we simply delete your listing. Sorry but we have to be fair to the others.
• A Spammer Page: This is a page which simply points to another page that is phishing or we deem whether it is devious or simply bad marketing - we make the rules, we don't allow it. End of story.
• A language other than English: If your site is in a language other than English we will kick the submission. Sorry but this site caters to English servers and people only. We do get a lot of Russian and Romanian listings and we are working on transferring this site into those languages... coming soon! So, if you attempt to post a link and the site is in a language other than English, it will be deleted. If we find that the link has an English version -- post that link - we'll be more than happy to list it.
• If your site is naughty: We do not post "adult" sites here. We will not allow sites that show genitalia. If we notice vulgar words in your submission we won't even bother checking the site - we'll simply delete the submission.
• Incomplete Submission: This submission is either missing information like the Title, Text or other info. We will not be helping your link - please check and make sure you have filled out everything you can about your link prior to being submitted.
• Certain Link Types:
  1. Featured Links and Paid Links: These links will of course be a "do-follow" link and will remain on the site for one year. A featured link will also show a small thumbnail of the site and will be prominently displayed in the category chosen. A featured link may be a deep link.
  2. Paid Links: A paid link will of course be a "do-follow" link and will remain on the site for one year. A paid link may be a deep link.
  3. Free Links: A paid link will of course be a "no-follow" link. You can at any time upgrade your link to Paid or Featured
  4. Reciprocal Links: A reciprocal link will be a "no-follow" link. You can at any time upgrade your link to Paid or Featured. We will also not accept a reciprocal link unless we see our link on the page. We will not accept PHP links - or software created links -
  5. Deep Links: While we allow deep links for paid links only, we will not accept any free link if it extends past the root. Meaning, if you post a link to a certain page on your site, and the link has not been paid for, we will automatically delete it. Please don't waste your and our time by posting something that will only get kicked to the electronic curb. This is a clean directory and we hope to keep it that way.
